This charming alpine Chalet can be found in the pretty traditional village of Les Gets. It is situated in a quiet picturesque hamlet called Moudon. Chalet Maria is a beautiful sunny chalet with a spacious south facing balcony on which you can enjoy unbeatable panoramic views.

The chalet is heated and has recently been fully refurbished. It briefly comprises of an entrance hallway with plenty of storage, a bedroom to the ground floor, a living room/dining room with kitchenette, a bathroom with a bath and a shower and a separate toilet. The spacious open plan upper floor features the master bedroom with double bed, dressing table and a second lounge area. The Chalet also benefits from private parking and a garage.

Les Gets is a typical french village which is part of the Portes du Soleil ski area, one of the largest ski areas in the world. The lift system enables you to ski to Morzine, Avoriaz, Chatel and into Switzerland. Perfectly maintained and safe, the slopes in Les Gets are surrounded by beautiful pine forests and higher up the mountain the more technical terrain can be found, guaranteed pleasure for all skiers.

Chalet Maria is only 1 hours drive from Geneva airport which is serviced by Easyjet, and an 8 hour drive from Calais.  If you want to sample some of Les Gets après ski then there is plenty to keep you occupied.  After trying some of the village activities including  open air ice skating, sledging, bowling, cinema, you deserve a gourmet break!  There are plenty of  excellent restaurants serving traditional Savoyard dishes and  bustling bars where you can enjoy a vin chaud.

Once the snow has melted the ski slopes return to green pastures and the alpine flowers begin to appear.  The lifts re-open for the summer from June to September providing access to the mountains for walkers and mountain bikers.  Les Gets is a world renowned mountain bike centre hosting the 2004 World Championships.  There is also an 18 hole golf course providing spectacular views of Mont Blanc.  For swimmers there is a lake with slides and plenty of grass for family picnics.   Nearby you will find lots of acitivities for the more adventurous including:- quad biking, paragliding, adventure park, horse riding and much more.
