WARNING Domain name renewal company PDF Print E-mail
Friday, 22 April 2005
We have become aware that an organisation called Internet Listing Services Corp have been sending out notices to domain name owners which resemble bills.

Please be aware that these should be ignored unless you specifically wish to make use of the services of this company.

We do not recommend you do so, since it appears they are harvesting names and addresses from whois data, against the regulations of the whois database, in order to send these unsolicited notices which appear to be designed to dupe unsuspecting domain owners into signing up for additional services they do not need or want.

Unfortunately this spamming has become the norm. If your domain is coming up for renewal, companies like this try  to get control of your domain, or even worse,  get you to pay them a renewal fee and do nothing but take your money! If you are not sure of an email you have received, please give Ibex a call and we will can sort out any difficulties or misunderstandings.

It is harder and more expensive to sort out the fallout after the event!
